The senseless murder of George Floyd one year ago was a turning point for our country and the world.
His death affected each one of us individually and Fossil Group as a whole. This moment one year ago set Fossil Group on a journey to doing more for our employees, our customers and our broader Fossil Group community.
We also recognize that this moment is about more than one person. This moment represents an opportunity to reflect on the historical and continuing injustices against countless Black men and women. Today, we’re reaching out to our entire Fossil Group community to take a traditional “moment of silence†even further – to have a moment of planned action. Using 8 minutes and 46 seconds, we’re asking you to take this time for personal reflection, explore stories and voices that are different than yours, or find your next volunteer or donation effort that works to end racism. Together, we can fight to end social injustice and support much-needed initiatives in this important movement.
