As part of our commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and our passion for learning and development, we recently hosted a Career Summit with HBCU 20×20 | The Application State Farm and Texas Capital.
We invited 24 students from Paul Quinn College to join us for an immersive day at our Richardson Headquarters. They were welcomed by our Chief Human Resources Officer Darren Hart, who introduced them to Fossil Group and the companies they would hear from throughout the Summit.
From there, the group toured our creative departments, attended a panel discussion with professionals in fields from IT to Social Media, participated in mock interviews, and met with the Talent Acquisition Team for resume and LinkedIn feedback – all in an effort to expose them to new professional pathways and sharpen their skills as they consider next steps in preparation for graduation and beyond. We can’t wait to see what these young individuals do next to change the world!
