Fossil Foundation proudly supports global disaster relief partners that are making an impact and recently made a $50,000 contribution to Team Rubicon. This long-standing Fossil Foundation partner will use these funds to facilitate their work with the Afghan Resettlement crisis in addition to supporting the most recent earthquake relief in Haiti.
Following the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan, Team Rubicon allocated $30,000 of the funds to assist with the resettlement of Afghan families in the United States. You can learn more about the Afghan Resettlement here.
The remaining $20,000 went toward their emergency relief and recovery efforts in Haiti after a 7.2 magnitude earthquake devastated the nation. With this support, Team Rubicon was able to provide medical assistance to 1,052 Haitians in need. Read more about the Haiti relief efforts here.
